More About Me

Trusted Advocate

I have chosen NOT to practice dual agency. I only represent one party in each transaction, thus keeping my allegiance to my clients at all times.
I offer potential clients the opportunity for a no cost, no obligation consultation before we commit to working together.
You can expect my communication to be honest and straightforward always keeping your best interest at heart.

A little bit about me

My introduction to real estate was in 1973 when my mom went to work for a small company in Magnolia Village, eventually retiring from Windermere Real Estate in 1985. I joined Windermere in August of 1997 and have been with them ever since.
Over the years my client base has ranged from first time buyers to experienced investors. I have been blessed to work with childhood friends and their families, people new to the community and those leaving the area after many years.
I am a neighborhood expert and a lifelong Magnolia resident; a small community about 15 minutes from Downtown Seattle. I know the unique communities Seattle has to offer and pride myself on matching my clients and their needs to the neighborhood best suited for them.

On a personal note

I have a passion for homes. Old ones, new ones, fixer-uppers, chicken coops...anything with a roof! I have lived through an extensive remodel my husband and I did ourselves. I have sold a home I loved and purchased a new home that fit our lifestyle a little better.
When I'm not at work you can find me in the yard. I have created a private outdoor sanctuary where our family and friends gather for outdoor meals, good conversation and lots of laughter.
I am BIG on community, always have been, always will be. I am dedicated to teaching our young people about the responsibility of being part of the bigger community. I created and support a project called Sandwiches for Hope. Local fourth grade students are provided the provisions to make sandwiches that are then delivered to Francis House, a day shelter located just outside of downtown Seattle.
I served as an office representative for the Windermere Foundation which supports non-profit agencies dedicated to helping homeless and low-income families for 15 years. Every time a Windermere sales associate sells a home, a portion of their commission goes to the Windermere Foundation. What started in 1989 as a grassroots foundation serving families in need in Washington State, has grown to encompass ten states and has raised over $24 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, clothing, children’s programs, emergency assistance, and other services to those who need our help the most.
I have served as a team captain for Relay for Life, been president of the parish council at my church, served on the board of the Wild and Scenic Institute and the Stewardship committee at my church.
My husband and I have been married for 34 years, we have two awesome adult daughters a terrific son in-law and a sweet sweet grandaughter.
